Purchase Total Solar Eclipse 2017 Activites & Lesson Plans

Thanks for visiting Momma Wren! The total solar eclipse is happening on Monday, August 21, 2017, and everyone needs to get excited! This type of solar eclipse hasn’t happened in almost a century! Yes we had one back in 1979, but THIS eclipse will sweep across the ENTIRE contiguous United States. It will be the event of a lifetime! Make sure your students are prepared.

What’s included in this resource: • 9 total pages of fun activities • 2 pages of instructional notes for teachers or homeschooling parents

What students will learn and do: • Information about the eclipse and some history • Map the path of the eclipse and location of totality from their city • Recording what they see and hear • Reflecting on what they experienced in the form of a letter • The phases of the moon
